Why AI Makes Flutter More Important, Not Less

The historical case for Flutter was built on developer experience: hot reload, write once, don't repeat yourself. AI has compressed or overtaken some of these advantages. Agents can write platform-native code in parallel. Review and iteration cycles are collapsing. Reasonable people look at this and conclude portability doesn't matter anymore and apps are dead. They're wrong. AI is changing how we write software but not why we write it. Developers need to focus on product differentiation vs platform-specific knowledge. In this talk we’ll cover: * The importance of intent and how your app is a representation of intent. * How AI agents are making portable software more important, not less. * What tools you need to deliver faster in this AI-agent world while ensuring your applications are portable, durable, and always evolving.
