Tamara

A Senior Product Engineer @Tamara, based in Riyadh, and a long-time Flutter enthusiast who’s been shipping production apps since 2018—back when hot reload still felt like magic. Over the past five years, I played a key role in scaling and migrating major consumer apps like Talabat and Tamara from native to Flutter, obsessing over better architecture, buttery-smooth performance, and developer experience that actually sparks joy.

Fun fact: after a 10-year journey, I officially graduated from college in 2024—proving that great engineers ship first and graduate… eventually.

When I'm not optimizing frame rendering or debating software design patterns, I'm a father, a challenger, and someone who firmly believes that great code—and great products—should be both powerful and fun.

Session

Navigation in a Multi-Module Flutter App at Scale

Navigation is easy when one team owns one app. It gets hard when dozens of feature packages ship routes into several apps from the same Monorepo. This talk covers how to build solid Navigation architecture: feature modules own and register their own routes, and the app shell only composes them. We show the guard pipeline that decides whether a route may open. How deep links are attributed, validated, and held until the app is ready. And share what production taught us about guards that run twice, links that arrive too early, and URLs that leak data into logs. If you’re fighting GoRouter at scale—or already in the middle of the chaos—this talk will give you a realistic playbook (with a few scars and lessons along the way).
