Most AI-powered Flutter apps stop at sending a prompt to an LLM and displaying the response. But real agentic applications need to go further. In this session, we’ll explore how to build a goal-driven AI agent with Flutter and Genkit that can understand user intent, choose tools, interact with APIs and data, perform multi-step tasks, and return structured results to the app. We’ll also look at what it takes to move from a prototype to production, including authentication, tool safety, validation, error handling, human approval, observability, and evaluation. Attendees will leave with a practical architecture for building Flutter apps where AI can safely work towards a goal, not just generate text.
